Author interpretation

Each paragraph unfolds a distinct scene, state, or shade of meaning. Read them in sequence so the interpretations stay clear.

01

God - Recently, pop culture has given birth to two wonderful images of God. The first was created by George Burns, who helps John Denver in Oh My God, and the second by James Earl Jones, who gives special orders to Roma Downey and Dell Reese in the TV show Touched by an Angel. In the first case God is accessible and blessing, in the second He becomes more instructive and powerful. The image of God manifests itself in dreams in different ways. Often God appears above the image of a person, but as something endowed with a divine beginning (for example, as religious icons, the Bible, etc.). After all, sometimes in a dream there is simply a feeling of a divine presence.

02

The appearance of such a divine element in our dreams opens the way to Providence and reminds us of the solution to the problem we encountered in the dream. Sometimes, a divine symbol, as if warning against mistakes, stops us. This happens especially often if we are faced with a choice that leads to a forbidden act or relationship. In such dreams, it is important to evaluate the content of the received revelation. The very fact of the appearance of divine symbolism deserves close attention. In the waking state, our ego denies the supernatural power of God. But during sleep we are more open and inclined to communicate with the Almighty. Try to decipher the information embedded in this spiritual message. Does the deity that appeared in the dream correspond to the ideas about him that you hold in reality? In the military, there is a kind of identification code that helps to determine how faithfully the orders of the officer corps are carried out. Perhaps you should resort to the use of such a recognition method before you determine for sure that a Higher Being visited you in a dream. Before following you, check its content for conformity with the character and nature of God. Did the divine symbol scare you, did it threaten you? Try to find a justification for your feeling. Was the northern Guest trying to tell you something? Review the problematic aspects of your life before determining whether the dream was prophetic. Greek, Norse, and Roman Gods The Gods represent idealized desires, obstacles, power, and relationships.

03

Deities are always endowed with traits in a hyperbolized form: Thor is the strongest god, Zeus is the embodiment of wisdom, Eros is the god of love. In dreams, we encounter these deities or inhabit their bodies, inheriting their qualities. So, we see an imprint of the valuable properties of real life. These divine beings sometimes hinder us, sometimes tell us how to behave, what character traits to use in different situations when communicating with others.

04

If you're serious about mythology, you'll find it helpful to consider your dreams about self-awareness and inner problem solving.

05

Communicating with God - during sleep we enter a level of being, free from consciousness and free from the biased control of the ego, which opens the way to wider perspectives and other horizons of reality. In other words, the best time for Divine revelation is the time when we are least trying to be ourselves.

06

All the religions of Judaism, Christianity, Taoism and Islam value sleep as a time of penetration of Divine reality into human consciousness. However, different world religions have their own vision and ways of communicating God with the human race. The only thing worth mentioning here is that dreams marked by the presence of the Divine provide both objective and subjective providence (that is, vision based on your own values). In other words, don't be concerned about the medium of the Divine message (be it an object or a person), let the message itself guide you.
