If you have seen Alfred Hitchcock's film "The Birds", you will understand that the symbolism associated with them is interpreted by people in different ways. From time immemorial, birds have developed a reputation as troublemakers and harbingers of trouble. At one time, among the peoples of the Middle East, it was even considered a bad sign if a bird pecks a person. Crows and vultures have been in bad repute since ancient times, but the ability to fly, inaccessible to humans, contributed to the creation of a halo of majesty around birds as a species (and some subspecies, in particular). Here it is worth citing as an example the proverb "soar like an eagle", which has been a metaphor for hope and self-confidence for 25 centuries.
The vigilance of birds (just remember the famous expression "hawk eye") is another example of their positive perception. In the mythology and literature of many cultures, crows and owls are definitely associated with wisdom, and the ability of some birds to reproduce human speech in general distinguishes them in a special category of representatives of the animal world. Some people can look like birds in a dream.
If you talk to them in a dream, it may indicate communication problems, and this is true even if the birds do not respond to you. As with other animals, it is important to consider what kind of bird it is and what it means to you in order to interpret a dream.
People whom you subconsciously endow similar with some feathered properties (for example, wise as an owl, predatory as a hawk or alert as an eagle) can be in your dreams in the form of these same birds, and not necessarily in the form of a bird with the face or head of a specific person, but as a metaphorical one.
